A pocket full of business cards
Half have no name you can place. The other half you meant to email and never did.
One scan at the door and the whole room is yours after tonight. Inside, you are shown three people worth meeting and why. Swap with anyone in one scan. On the way home, everyone you met is in your own list, each one marked with where you met, and it is still there in eight months when you need the name.
Open now, and free to start. Your address is yours as soon as you choose it.

How scan in works
The screen at the entrance has a code inside the gate. Point your camera at it and you are checked in, with nothing to download. From then on the event knows you are in the room, and so do the people you should meet.

Your camera, the code, done. If you are new you choose a name, and that address is yours for life, free.
Three people in the room right now, worked out from what you offer and what you are looking for, with the reason.
Two people checked in swap contacts with one scan, stamped with the event. Speakers, vendors and sponsors too.
Everyone you met, in your own list, with where you met them. Follow up tonight, or find them next year.
What you will see at the door
The same three screens are on the TVs at every NexusG8 event. Look for the gate.

Point your camera at the code inside the gate. No app. Two seconds.

The reason to bother: tonight you will forget most of the names. Your list will not.

Everyone who was there, who you should meet, and your own address, free for life.
The problem
Half have no name you can place. The other half you meant to email and never did.
You took a picture of a lanyard so you would remember. You do not remember why.
They were in the same room for two days. Nobody pointed you at each other.

With NexusG8
Made for the room
A code at the door counts who came. Inside, each guest sees three people worth meeting, worked out from what everyone offers and needs among the people actually checked in. Two guests swap contacts with one scan, stamped with where they met, and in eight months they can still find the name they half remember.
Not a directory: three names and why, from the people in the room right now. Hosts see the strongest pairs tonight.
Two people both checked in swap contacts in one scan, and it is stamped “Met at” your event. Vendors and sponsors too.
Everyone who came is reachable afterwards from the same place, for the follow up, the recording and next year.
How it works
Look for the gate on the screen. Camera, code, checked in.
Your phone shows who in the room you should meet, and why.
Everyone you met is in your list tonight, marked with where you met.
